Store is small, staff very rude and definitely, and it's ridiculously expensive.
Bought some bread and cookies to share with nearby friends. Prices were reasonable and quality was very good. As with most places in the area, you may have a little difficulty if you don’t speak Polish. Just smile, be polite and remember you’re a guest in their area and I’m sure anyone working in any of these shops will be more than helpful and glad to have your business.
One of the best small Bakery in Connecticut. Bread is fantastic, I always get at least two. Stuff does speak English and they accept credit cards. Unfortunately place is a little small so you may see some lines for register but still worth waiting.
Pastry was delicious, But it seemed, if you didn't speak polish no one that worked there would help you out. I find it hard to believe that the employees & owners or whoever was working there the three times that we bought baked goods from their establishment did not know English. The clientele in the bakery help us out each and every time,no one else! And the looks we got were hurtful!!!! Wonderful Baked goods but we won't be back when you have other Bakeries such as Roly Poly right close by that are willing to find someone who knows how to speak English. Matter of fact that was the only place in that area (Little Poland) that we were treated that way!!! And by the way they could not even relay how much the items cost, We gave them a large bill and hoped for the best.
The staff is rude and most of the goods not so great. After standing in line for a half hour they started helping someone four or five people behind me who wanted to change her pre order for two babkas to another day. When they finally decided to help me they did not have what I wanted so I asked to order it to pick up today. They told me that I could not order just one. I asked how many I has to order and they told me 15... when I asked why the lady behind only had to order two the girl just shrugged her shoulders. I might add that this entire conversation was in Polish so it wasn't like she didn't understand me. I left and proceeded down the street to Roly Poly where the staff was most pleasant and helpful and the items less expensive. Never again will I set foot in Kasia Bakery. I would have rated a zero if I could.
