We recently had a baby shower at Belvedere Cafe. The food was perfect and service exceptional. The room was perfect for our party of 30 guests. Elizabeth made sure personally that all details were up to our satisfaction.
Belvedere Restaurant its one of nicest looking restaurant on Broad Street, owners and staff are very professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to any one not only to spend time at the bar but also for any family events.
We had a small Private Gathering recently at Belvedere's Restaurant to acknowledge a loved ones passing by commemorating his family heritage and celebrating his life over a great Polish feast. To the entire staff at Belvedere's we thank you for opening your restaurant and your hearts to us at this our time of sorrow, your professionalism, kindness and sincerity was far beyond business like and truly heartfelt. It was greatly appreciated and did not gone unnoticed. The entire meal was tremendous from start to finish, with multiple entrees served in a family style setting all exceeding our expectations. The Food, The Service, The Atmosphere and The Staff made the entire evening a night that will be remembered. As two former restaurant people we often find it difficult not to find fault in something while we are out, but on this night at Belvedere's every thing was absolutely fantastic. We once again thank you for your kindness, hospitality and wonderful food!
I recommend not making any plans with Ela regarding renting a hall. She was untrustworthy and did not even apologize for what she did. Very unprofessional. Stay away!
Do not plan any events or family gatherings at Belvedere! A month before the wedding me and my fiance, reserved dining room for our rehearsal dinner with Ela for 35 people. She said this is not going to be a problem. Four days before we contacted her to verify if everything was ok, she told us she rented it out to somebody else for a wine tasting event. We were in shock. Ela told us that she can give us the the vip room in the basement that fits maybe 20 people max. We had no idea what to do. Rehearsal dinner was four days away and we had no venue. After calling all the places around, we were lucky Baltic restaurant had an open hall.
Building was clean and coffee was okay, but service was lacking. Took a while to nab my check, then told me I couldn't use my card to pay and I had to use cash. I only had a large bill and was trying to be considerate asking if I should find an atm, but received a slight attitude. Place was not that busy to where getting check was a problem, and was not impressed enough to go out of my way to visit again.
