I had such a wonderful experience at Concentra . The medical team are extremely nice and they have fast service! You're literally in and out quickly. I've been to this location 4 times and had the same experience each time.
When i got injuried i went to concentra they are so nice an helpful even going to PT they are so nice. If any body get injuried they ate the ones you gotta go see to get a full recovery.
Called me in quickly and the girl that administered my test was very friendly and professional.
As an RN with 30 years of experience I can honestly say that the care at Concentra in New Britain CT was the worst I have ever seen. The staff were extremely uncaring and when I asked for an extra sling the response I heard from the hallway was “I have other patients too.” The person who did my vitals and put the info in the computer functioned like a robot. She was completely disinterested in my tears and report of pain. Her only concern seemed to be getting the info into the computer. I doubt that she would have acted this way if had been one of her family members. The PA appeared unsure of herself which left my husband and I feeling very uneasy as to her diagnosis and recommendations. As it turns out she was going to send me home with a splint, pain meds, and a muscle relaxant but fortunately rethought her decision at the last minute and sent me to an orthopedic group who did an emergency CT scan and scheduled me for surgery right away. To add insult to injury the workman’s comp representative said that I should have been offered a referral to an orthopedic group closer to home given that the hospital is 45 minutes from my home. Honestly my pets get better care and compassion from their veterinarians than I received from Concentra. That whole staff needs a mandatory in service on customer service.
Was sent here for workers comp. I waited for over an hour in the lobby then when finally taken to an exam room was told it would be another hour before I would be seen. Meanwhile I hear staff saying how they want to make sure they get out at 5 when they close. They ended up seeing another patient before me who walked in 30 minutes after I did just because that person had a fit over the wait. A doctor spent maybe 3 minutes in the room and said I was "probably" going to be fine. Then I get a text message for a follow up appointment after they did nothing. If I'm "probably" fine then why would I waste another 2.5 hours of my day? What could they possibly be rechecking? The whole experience was unprofessional and I will make if I need to be seen for workers come I will request a different practice.
