I have been waiting for my pistol permit for 3 months! The application days 4 to 8 weeks. You guys never called me back about the status of my application. Worst Police department of Connecticut!

I called 4 times to get any officer to my residents and not one has shown up. I called them an hour and a half ago and no response. This is why people lose faith and respect for police officers.

Police are verying respectful and God Bless your

Fn a$$holes! idiots blowing off fireworks, that I KNOW ARE ILLEGAL, ignorant idiots, guess they are in every god damn city! no not an emergency, not enough police to do their job! hope one of these idiot morons blows their hand off!

I'm stationed in Washington DC, so I am not able to be with my fiance' who is a resident at UCONN. She spends her days taking care of some really sick people, and as a resident goes to work early in the morning, and comes home very late at night. I applaud her for her dedication to selfless service. In preparation for the winter storm Stella, my fiance spent the night at UCONN, because without her, there's going to be critically ill patients without a doctor. After work today she drove to her house in CT, and parked her car on the street, because she does not have a drive-way. A neighbor lady, who was not pleased with my fiance's parking job, made obscene remarks to her, and then called the police. When the police arrived, my fiance explained her situation, and the fact that she would be needing to go into work tomorrow (0600). Thus, she needed quick access to ensure she could get to the hospital and take care of people who are literally dying. Instead of being understanding, showing empathy, and assisting my fiance, your officer told my fiance she was "violating the law," and instructed her to move her car to Washington Park, a good distance away from her residence or be towed. I guess the concept that she has to be at work at 0600 to care for sick people doesn't warrant empathy. I hate the idea of my fiance walking in the darkness, in a dangerous area of town (but let's face it, a majority of New Britain is pretty dangerous - great job on that account) to get to her car so she can literally save lives. You ought to be ashamed if yourselves.
